Harri & Domenic
'For me, in eighteen years nothing has really changed. I still get that same feeling walking into the club now as I did back in the first week. I never get bored with Subculture, it's so fresh and I think a lot of that is the fact that music is always evolving, there is so much out there for us to find and bring to the club.' - Domenic

Blawan
As the producer behind RA's top record of 2011 'Getting Me Down', it's easy to see why Blawan is the current golden boy of R&S Records. With support from the likes of Jackmaster and Ben UFO, he has released some of the most essential records of recent memory across a variety of buy-on-sight imprints such as Clone.

Dixon, Harri & Domenic
The Innervisions label boss gives his take on house music; 'The more you play, the more you can't stand earlier records. With that schedule, there will be certain tracks that you've played twenty times already in just three months. You don't want to hear it anymore. But then you go to Turkey for the first time, and somehow you have to play it. So it's a balance - you are consciously pushing yourself to play new stuff, but then again that other track is good, so play it again.' - Dixon

Highlife
Auntie Flo & Esa
Back in 1987 Afrika Bambaataa's 'Zulu Nation' was in full effect, already having created a legacy encompassing the birth of hip-hop, electro-funk and b-boy culture. This month's Highlife will look back at those classic 80s sounds bringing the afrofuturism of Bambaataa, Ramellzee and the Zulu Nation to the Sub Club. Your hosts for the evening as ever are Auntie Flo and Esa who will soon be launching Auntie Flo's debut mini-album 'Future Rhythm Machine' on the Huntleys & Palmers imprint.

Matthew Dear, Andrew Weatherall, Harri & Domenic
Whilst looking back at our twenty-five year history one name seemed to appear very frequently. The peerless Andrew Weatherall has played at the Sub Club so many times we've actually lost track, but we do know that he is a musical force more reliable than gravity. He'll be joined on the 28th by the unmistakable Matthew Dear, the mind behind the avant-garde pop records 'Asa Breed' & 'Black City' as well as his techno monikers Audion, False and Jabberjaw.

Sensu
Magda & Mike Servito
The former first lady of M_nus recently broke free and established herself alongside Marc Houle and Troy Pierce as one of the driving forces behind the Berlin imprint Items & Things, home to artists such as Madato and Clement Meyer. But this new lease of life doesn't change the fact that she is one of our favourite guests at Sensu, where we will be welcoming her back for her third performance.

Carl Craig 69 Live
69 may not be Carl Craig's most widely known pseudonym; it could be argued that until 2009's reissue of 'The Legendary Adventures of a Filter King', even some of Detroit's artist's most ardent fans were unaware of the tracks that he released as 69 between '91 and '94. Unfamiliar with the sound? Take a very easy leap of faith and join us for the Scottish debut of Carl Craig's 69 live show.
